Build the Playground - June 9-13

Join us June 9-13, 2010 for a playground build at Myers Park. There will be tasks and jobs for all skill levels and ages. Join in on the fun! There will be three shifts per day. Volunteer for one shift or all day. Can't commit to a specific shift now? It's ok - we'll check back with you as we grow closer to the playground build kick-off! Childcare available and food will be served.

Pork Lunch - May 23rd

Join us on May 23rd from 11 am to 3 pm at the Lansing Community Center for a Pork Lunch. We will be serving Pork Sandwich, Macaroni Salad, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Dessert and Beverage.

Chicken BBQ - May 22nd

May 22nd Chicken BBQ benefit will be at Lansing Town Hall. Starts at 11 am till gone.
$8 for full dinner and $5 for half chicken.

The Plantsmen - May 22nd & 23rd

Visit the The Plantsmen on May 22nd or 23rd and 10% of your purchase will go to MP3. They are open Saturday 9 am - 5 pm and Sunday 10 am - 4 pm. www.plantsmen.com.

Eatin' Here is GOOD for the Neighborhood!!! Applebee's will donate 10% of your check (excluding tax and tip) to: MP3 Playground, May 5th, 11 am to close at 2300 N. Triphammer Rd, Ithaca, NY. You will need a VOUCHER, they are available through Ed LaVigne at Tops Triphammer or Lansing Town Hall, 29 Auburn Rd.

Rogues Harbor Dine to Donate - May 2 - 6

Party for the Park - Lakewatch Inn March 26

You are invited to a benefit for the Myers Park Playground (MP3) at Lake Watch Inn on Friday, March 26 from 6:00 to 11:00 pm.

Straight skinny: Yes, there will be live music, a four-piece rock band called "Reporter," featuring our very own Lansing school super Steve Grimm, playing covers from Sinatra to Santana. Shhhh . . . the silent auction opens at 6 pm and closes at 8:30 pm. Munch on appetizers, sip a drink from the cash bar and if you're lucky, win one of several door prizes. Get tickets online, at the Lansing Town Hall, from any committee member, or at the door: $20/each or $35/couple.

We will be serving Spaghetti & Meatballs, Salad, Bread, Hot Vegetable, Desert and Drink. All for $7 a person, $4 for children under 12.

Boot Camp at Lansing Ballfields May 15th 7 am - 11 am!! Registration is $15, or bring a friend and it's $10 each. The registration includes 2 Curves and 2 Jazzercise Boot Camp Workouts, Mess Hall snacks and beverages, and Raffle Ticket and Prize Drawings every hour!! 3-D Event at Crossroads - Sat. April 24th

(Dine, Dance & Donate) Please join us at Crossroads to benefit the Myers Park Playground Project (MP3). This two part event will begin with kid focused activities from 4pm - 6pm. The highlight being our kids bids silent auction, opening at 4pm and closing at 5:30pm. Thinking of dining out this evening? Think no further - come to Crossroads! A portion of dinner sales between 4-7pm will be donated to MP3. The “big kid affair” begins at 6pm which will include seriously yummy finger foods, A MP3 specialty drink, silent auction (opens at 6pm and closes at 8:30pm, and DJ Rick Uhl will provide music from 6pm to close. Door prizes will be drawn at 7pm, 8pm, & 9pm. BBQ grill raffle winner will be announced at 9:00pm and the 50/50 raffle will be announced at 9:30pm. Grab your friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, and meet us at Crossroads for an evening of fun! No cover – join us for this fun community event!

Community Celebration - February 11

The Lansing Community Council is sponsoring a community celebration to introduce the Myers Park Playground Project (MP3). Children's drawings and input have been collected from the Lansing Elementary and Middle Schools. Now come see a tentative playground design and celebrate with fun-filled children's activities and refreshments.
